IrelandMetrix is the new Internet Audience Measurement system for Ireland.
IrelandMetrix, new Internet Audience Measurement (IAM), has been developed by BlueMetrix, an Irish company who, in partnership with TNS have already successfully implemented IAM systems in Norway, Finland, Denmark & Estonia. After much consultation with Ireland’s leading web presences, Bluemetrix has launched IrelandMetrix to meet the clear demand for a regularly published, reliable and most importantly, an independent audience measurement benchmark for online advertising in Ireland
The system has been established to provide the online media industry in Ireland with 3rd party, independently audited internet audience measurement (IAM) figures on a regular basis. This will provide a much required, cost-effective program for websites that offer online advertising in Ireland. Equally, it provides media buyers and advertisers with reliable data to make better informed buying decisions, improve ROI on online marketing spend, and for the market as a whole to demonstrate accountability of spend online.
At present, BlueMetrix is in advanced discussions with Ireland’s leading internet publishers to secure their participation in the launch of IrelandMetrix in September 2008. From October 7th, the following data; unique visitors, page impressions, unique sessions will be published on a weekly basis on www.irelandmetrix.ie. This data will also be published in the national media on a monthly basis.
